• • • Dear Bessie Mae, October 1984 Beaverton, Oregon What a blessing you have been to so many girls over the years! I am thankful to have been part of that group which you have loved, served and influenced. You and Dr. Joe hold such a special place in my Harding memories. Being in your home for Regina and Petit Jean activities was always a treat. And Cam and I cannot think about our wedding without remembering how fortunate and happy we were to have you help us with the reception . (We always smile when we get to the pictures of you preparing the punch and Dr. Joe "testing" it.) Responsibilities and miles keep me from personally expressing wishes and appreciation, but please know that if I was there, you would get a big hug and "thank you" for being an example for me and many others. We rejoice and celebrate your many years of service. May many prayers of thanksgiving go to our Father for the life you have shared with so many.
