Pryor Scrapbook Bessie Mae, 2008

April 11, 2008 Dear Bessie Mae, Congratulations on this outstanding Lifetime Christian Service award from A WH... you are certainly deserving! You just c-a-n-t be approaching 85 years of living!! However, I'm not many years behind you......Each year has its own beauty, doesn't it? I've always thought of you as an ageless, vivacious lady with unending energy!! Not to mention your outstanding talents and abilities; God truly blessed you in these areas. You've always been an excellent cook with such a flair of serving it so attractively. Your beautiful floral arrangements have been recognized and appreciated through the years. Your tremendous influence on the young ladies in Regina (and others) has been exemplary. I have learned much from you since my feet hit the ground in Searcy! As I reminisce about working side-by-side with you on projects, teas, parties, etc. I feel some nostalgia. Those were "Good Old Days"--------Even all those workshops for the annual Gift Fair each fall. You were one of the most gracious ladies I've ever known. Charm exuded, whether hosting a dinner party in your lovely home or directing a wedding or simply walking into a room! Perhaps the .best example of your inner beauty and personna was the w_ay you so lovingly cared for "Your Joe" day in and day out. Your love for each other was evident until his last breath-----You never stopped nurturing it-----And I admire you so much for that quality. It is my JOY to be your friend. I love you, Eloise
