Pryor Scrapbook Bessie Mae, 2008

' ' Dear Bessie Mae, How we would love to be there and say Happy Birthday to you in person! We both (Walt and Martha Mays) have such good memories of you and Dr. Joe from way back in 1960 - 1963 when we were both attending Harding. You were a special blessing especially to me as I was in the Regina's and was away from home for the first time and very uncertain about life. You were a very positive roll model for me and I am sure you didn't realize how much you shaped many decisions I have made throughout the rest of my life. I can't hear or read Proverbs 31; "A virtuous woman, who can find...." without remembering you. Walt and his friend, Marcus Walker also have fond memories of "little Joe" going with them on several occasions, looking for bugs or turtles or snakes to bring back to the biology lab. I guess life is made of memories and a good life is made from good memories. We both (Walt and I}, love you very much and hope you have a wonderful birthday! Walt and Martha (Doak) Mays
