. ' Dear Bessie Mae, One of thebest hings about being a Regina was getting to know you and Dr. Joe and being in your home. ONe of my special memories is of the day that George found me at your house wher I was helping make refreshments for a tea for new Reginas. You sent me into the living room as if you knew something was about to happenand there George surprized me with an engagement ri g! I remember how pleased you were and how you congratulated us. Then you made sure that I helped serve refreshments that evening so allthe girls could notice my ring. I still use some of the recipes we were making in your kitchen that day and 'I've always remembered how you helped me sharemy joy and excitement. Thank you, Bessie Mae, for always making everone a aumtd you feel special. Thank you for being a wonderful example of a Christian homemaker. Best wishes on your 85th birthday!
