l I I l Me John 13:3-5; 1'2-17 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power and that he had come from God and was returning to God: so he got up h-,om the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel el around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. When he had finished washing their feet he put on his clothes and returned to his place Do uou understand what Ihave done for uou? you?he asked them. You call me Teacher and Lord and rightly so, for that is what Iam Now that I, your I Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, uou also should wash one another's feet. Ihave set ou an example that you should do as I have done for uou. I tell uou the truth no servant is greater than his master nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you I now know these ings, you will be blessed if you do them During pledge week it it isGATA'stradition to have a night of singing, devo, and for each each big sister to wash her little sister's feet . There's so muc, meaning in this ceremony that comes h'om Christ'sdemonstration in John 13. It's our wayof remindingthe the Class 11 members that while they are serving us during pledge week we are ll here as sisters in Christ and Club sisters to serve one another
