HONORED TEACHER Burks received the Distinguished Teacher Award in 1975 for his work in the II INAUGURATION Then-govemor Bill Clinton was the keynote speaker at Burks' 1987 presidential inauguration. NEW ENTRANCE In 1998, the railroad tracks on the south side of campus were removed for an entrance and the Center.
