In fact, he bought two. "I've always had cars like Miatas. I've had three Fiats over the years and I wanted to get another one," James said. "I've bought a lot of things on eBay and I've always had a lot of su ccess. I've neve r been dis– appointed. Sometimes you know a car better on eBay than you know off a used car dealer because the'y' re required to give you fuLl descrip– tions and photographs." For some, eBay.com appeared to be the choice internet site for savings and bargains. eBay provided an elec– tronic auctioning system for prod– ucts posted online. Despite ·the savings, some stu– dents would not use the on line trad– ing site. Senior Nick Evans did not use online buying sites because he questioned the integrity. "You can't be assu red of the qual– ity of th e p roduct before you buy it," Evans said. "I like to be able to physically see what I am about to chase. It takes a certain trust to purchase something and I just don't have that trust." Some students encountered tive experiences using online ping sites like eBay.
