Rid in' around in st:yle on a BISON BIKE Freshman Kristen Barnes cruises into the Benson Auditorium on a "Bison Bike" during a Student Association chapel presentation promoting the bikes. Dr. Ross Cochran, associate professor of Bible, had the idea to have bicycles circulating around campus for students to share and use. SA President Steve Cloer liked the idea and made it happen for the student body. If students saw a Bison Bike, it was free for them to take anywhere on campus. "Bison Bikes are a unique brand of bike," junior Gary Luna said. "The experience that one can gain while riding a Bison Bike can be applied later in life as survival skills. They can teach you how to jump off a speeding bike, how to use your shoes as brakes and you can learn how to ride a bike without a seat. These Bison bikes do a great service to the community." Ryan Travis was the Bison Bike mechanic this year. Bike City provided many parts for these repairs. 96 people Photo by Daniel Dube
